Qualifications

Our staff are some of the best landscape professionals in the business. Most have diplomas or degrees in Horticulture and Landscape tech. Our crews are kept up to date with the latest new products and trends. We have a Journeyman Carpenter with over 30 years of experience.

Safety

Our company is diligent about safety and has its own safety program that complies with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Labour and Equipment

We’re still growing, but currently we employ 6 full time people with additional seasonal staffing when necessary. We own the tools, a five ton dump truck, equipment and machinery necessary to perform the required job tasks.

Want to do it yourself, but don’t have the equipment required to do the preparation work?
We own brand new equipment and can supply at an hourly rate, a Caterpillar 303 Excavator, a Bobcat MT55 walk behind mini-skidsteer loader and a One Ton Dump truck, with experienced operators.

Trade Associations

The company is an active member of Landscape Nova Scotia and the Canadian Nursery Trades Association. The owner, Russell Beakhouse has been on the Board of Directors for 10 years and is a member of the Executive as a Past President.

Insurance

Our Company and its staff are insured with the Lombard General Insurance Company of Canada with $2,000,000 general liability coverage. As well, we carry Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia coverage.
